மன்னார் பொது நூலகத்தின் இணைய நூல் பட்டியல்

மன்னார் மாவட்டம் வடக்கு மாகாணத்தின் மிக முக்கியமான மாவட்டங்களில் ஒன்றாகும், இங்கு ப்ரசித்ததை பெற்ற இடங்களான மடு மாதா தேவாலயம், திருக்கேதீஸ்வரம் சிவன் கோவில், தலைமன்னார் பண்டைய முஸ்லீம் மசூதி அரபு வணிகர்களின் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க அடக்கம். வரலாற்று முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த பெருக்க மரம், அல்லி ராணி கோட்டை , டச்சு கோட்டை, முத்துத் துறைமுகம் போன்றவை அவற்றில் சிலவாகும்.

மன்னார் மாவட்டத்தில் ஐந்து பிரதேச செயலகங்கள் (மன்னார், முசலி, மாந்தை மேற்கு, நானாட்டான் , மடு ) ஒரு நகர சபை மற்றும் நான்கு பிரதேச சபா சபைகள் (மன்னார் நகர சபை, மன்னார் பிரதேச சபை, முசலி பிரதேச சபை, மாந்தை மேற்கு பிரதேச சபை).

மன்னார் மாவட்டத்தில் 18 நூலகங்கள் இருந்தாலும் , மன்னார் பொது நூலகம் 25,114 புத்தகங்கள் மற்றும் 3,969 வாசகர்களுடன் (சிறுவர்கள் , மாணவர்கள் , மூத்த உறுப்பினர்கள்) சிறந்த சேவையை வழங்கி வருகிறது, மேலும் இந்த நூலகம் அவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் வழிகாட்டி நூலகமாக மாறியுள்ளதுடன், மன்னார் மாவட்டத்தைச்.

சேர்ந்த மாணவர்களின் கல்வி வளர்ச்சியில் முக்கிய பங்காளராக திகழ்கிறது. 1954 இல் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்ட இந்நூலகத்தின் முதல் உறுப்பினராக 24.08.1954 திரு எஸ். பரமகுரு பதிவு செய்யப்பட் டுள்ளார் . 3,969 வாசகர்களை கொண்டுள்ள இந்நூலகம், செய்தித்தாள் பிரிவு, சிறுவர் பிரிவு, உசாத்துனைப் பிரிவு, இரவல் வழங்கும் பிரிவு, காப்பகப் பிரிவு மற்றும் விசேட தேவை உடையவர்களுக்கான ( பார்வைக் குறைபாடுள்ள ) பகுதிகளைக் கொண்டு சேவைகளை செய்து வருகின்றது.

2021 ஆம் ஆண்டில், தேசிய நூலக ஆவணவாக்கல் சேவைகள் சபையுடன் இணைந்து இலங்கை தகவல் தொடர்பாடல் தொழில்நுட்ப முகவர் (ICTA) நிறுவனத்தால் இப் பொது நூலகத்தில் "டிஜிட்டல் நூலக திட்டம்" நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. ஒரு மேம்பட்ட மற்றும் புதுப்பிக்கப்பட்ட நூலக தன்னியமாக்கல் அமைப்பை வழங்குவதன் மூலமும், நவீன உள்கட்டமைப்பை அறிமுகப்படுத்துவதன் மூலமும், நாட்டில் நூலக அமைப்பின் தரம் மற்றும் செயல் திறனை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கு இது அவசியமாகின்றது. தற்போது நூலகம் பொதுமக்களுக்கு டிஜிட்டல் நூலக சேவைகளை வழங்குவதற்கு நவீன இலத்திரனியல் சாதனங்களுடன் முழுமையாக பொருத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த ஆன்லைன் பொது அணுகல் பட்டியலாக்கம் (OPAC) மூலம் பயனர்கள் தேவையான புத்தகங்களை இலகுவாக தேடலாம், கண்டுபிடிக்கலாம், அதன் இருப்பிடத்தை அறியலாம் மற்றும் வைத்திருக்கலாம்.

Mannar is one of the most important districts in the Northern Province as Madhu Mary;s church,Thirukketheeswaram ,Sivan kovil, Thalaimannar Ancient Muslim mosque with remarkable burial of Arab merchants. historically significant Bio bab tree, Also Alli Rari Fortee, Dutch Fort, Perl harbor etc .

This Mannar District has five Divisional Secretariat (Mannar, Musali, Manthai west, Nanadan, Madu) meanwhile one Urban council and four Pradesiya saba councils ( Mannar Urban Council, Musali Pradeshiya Sabha, Manthai West Pradeshiya Sabha, Mannar Pradeshiya Sabha, Nanattan Pradeshiya Sabha) .

Although there are 18 libraries in Mannar district,. Mannar Public library it has been providing excellent service with 25,114 books and 3,969 readers ( children, , student , elder members) and the library has become a guide library for all of them and is important in the educational development of students from other areas. Incorporates partner and companion. It was started in 1954.by Mr S. Paramaguru who was registered as the first member on 24.08.1954. Today 3,969 overnight great readers are registered. The Mannar Public Library also cater services for the newspaper section, children's section, Reference section, Lending section, archival section and visually impaired areas, as well as cutting and storing articles related to the Mannar district in the newspapers Dinakaran & Weerakesari.

In 2021, The Digital Libraries Project was implemented at this public library by the Information Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) in collaboration with National Library and Documentation Services Board by providing an advanced and updated library automation system and introduced modern infrastructure which is in demand to improve the quality and efficiency of the library system in the country. Presently the library is fully equipped with modern electronic devices to provide digital library services to the public. Users can easily search, find, locate and hold required books through this Online Public Access Catalogue.
